母、兄、そして凧

一人、遠い地平線に沈む夕陽を見ると思い出す。

まだほんの小さかった頃、風が強い日に兄と一緒に凧揚げをしていた。

風に乗って限りなく高く揚がった。

持ち手が僕になった時に、強風で糸が切れて、

夕陽が沈み行く地平線遠くに凧がひらひら飛んで視界から消えていった。

暗くなっても兄弟で必死で探し回った。。。でも見つからなかった。

泣きながら家に帰り母に報告した。。

母は優しく笑い、一生懸命探したんだからもういいよと言った。

その時に出してくれたカレーライスは自分の涙が混じってなんとも言えない味だった。

Mother, Brother, and the Kite

When I see the sun is setting under the horizon, I recall one thing.

In my childhood, I flyed a kite with my elder brother windy day.

Thanks to the wind, our kite flyed higher and higher.

When I flyed, the storng wind cut the string,

so･･･our kite flyed freely and flutterly, and fade away...

We looked for our kite hardly until the darkness , But We couldn't.

Going home with tears, I informed my mother.

She said with smile, 「OK! You discharged your duty! Because You worked hard!」

I remember the taste of that day's supper,curry rice, with the flavor of my tears.
